Question How much does not having the sleeve for a 45 record decrease the value of it?
I have a TON of 45 records but none of them have sleeves or anything, it is just the record. They're all in perfect condition, just nothing with them. How much would the value decrease on them if I sold them? And would it be better just to donate them somewhere that could find cases, etc.? i.e. a record shop, vintage store.

Best Answer The sleeves increase the value greatly, but the fact is that more than 90% of all 45s sold were sold in plain white wrappers with label sized holes, not the treasured sleeves.

Question Is it possible to transfer a 45 record to a CD?
I have a 45 rpm record of Elvis' Softly, as I leave you on one side and Unchained Melody on the other and have nothing to play it on so I need help.

Best Answer It'd be cheaper to just buy the tracks from Itunes or buy the CD and rip it. Otherwise, you need some cables, a 45 player, a sound capture card, and some sound capture software.

Best Answer Angular speed stays the same the tangential speed increases. The angular speed is 45rpm the tangential speed is 2*pi*radius*45/minutes so larger radius = greater speed
